General Election 2020... We're Ready!

Our recent Business Outlook Survey identified that 3 out of 4 Dublin businesses consider the housing and infrastructure deficits as the biggest challenges facing Dublin’s competitiveness. Many others expressed concern over the cost and availability of labour.

At its December meeting, Dublin Chamber’s policy Council approved our proposals to the next Government. Now that the election has been called for February 8th, we’ll be launching a summary manifesto in the next week or so, and bringing this to each of the political party leaders and Dublin TDs. In this regard, we’re delighted to confirm that aspiring future Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, will address members on 23rd January. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please remember that it is never too late to share your concerns and point of view with us. Your business intelligence is essential to the Chamber’s lobbying activity and is always welcome and valued. Get in touch with the public affairs team at
