What's Happening Around Dublin
A Round-up of Recent Announcements

Dublin is getting a new train station. Construction got underway this week on the new €10.5m Pelletstown station, which will sit between the existing Ashtown and Broombridge stops on the Maynooth line. The station is due to open next summer. Details here.


Dublin City Council is examining the possibility of introducing public toilets into the city centre, under a "service retail-based model". More here.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland has published a tender for a 'topographical survey' to be carried out on the extension of the Luas tram line to Finglas. The plan would see a 4km extension added between Broombridge and Charlestown, including 4 new stops.
