Affordable, secure and sustainable energy for Europe - REPowerEU is the European Commission’s plan to make Europe independent from Russian fossil fuels before 2030, in light of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The REPowerEU plan sets out a series of measures to rapidly reduce dependence on Russian fossil fuels and fast forward the green transition while increasing the resilience of the EU-wide energy system. It is based on:

• Diversifying our energy suppliers
• Saving energy
• Accelerating the production of EU clean energy supplies

Dublin Chamber’s Women Empowerment Series runs two exclusive events for senior decision-makers from the medium scaling and large multinational organisations in our membership. Each event focuses on leadership issues and explores the challenges faced by women in making it to the top in business. The series gives guests access to high level thought leadership focused sessions and the opportunity to network.

For the second event in the series, we are delighted to be joined by Mairéad McCaul, Managing Director, MSD, Deborah Threadgold, Country General Manager, IBM Ireland and Kim Hegarty, Director, Linesight.
