Focus Group on Priorities for Budget 2022 - 12pm Friday 26th February

As the business community looks ahead with hope to the roll-out of vaccines, Dublin Chamber is already working on policies to support a recovery and stimulus post-Covid. Our campaign on Budget 2022 will be a key opportunity to communicate business priorities this year.

Dublin Chamber’s pre-budget submission last year focused on enterprise, labour market measures, and sustainable infrastructure. As your elected Policy Council develops the Chamber’s specific proposals for next year, we want to hear from you.

To that end, we are holding a focus group in which members can discuss the challenges they face, highlight problems, and potential solutions. Your input and feedback are important to help us develop budgetary policy and lobby the Government on your behalf.

The focus group will be held online at 12pm on Friday 26th February. The session will last approximately 60 minutes and we hope to have a robust exchange of views and sharing of experiences. Discussion will focus on priorities for Budget 2022 and will be based on your individual input.

We will broadly frame the discussion across the following themes:

  1. Which broad policy areas do you think the Government should prioritise in Budget 2022?
  2. What specific changes to taxation policy would help your business and why?
  3. What areas of Government expenditure need greater attention or reform?

Please register your interest in participating by emailing carol@dublinchamber.ie.

Attendance will be limited to best facilitate in-depth discussion, so the participant list will be filled on a first come first served basis.
