International Certificate of Origin Accreditation Chain

We are pleased to be able to advise that Ireland has joined the International Certificate of Origin Accreditation Chain which is a global standard that seeks to recognise best practice in chamber operations

While Dublin Chamber has had all staff involved in the issuing of certificates of origin trained and certified to International Chambers of Commerce (ICC) standards since those standards were first introduced in 2015, this extra assurance for our customers and their international trade partners is a welcome recognition of Ireland’s commitment to global standards on the international stage.

From next Monday, 26th July 2021 the following stamp will appear all certificates of origin – both those stamped through EssCert and manually.

This instantly recognisable international quality label reinforces the integrity and credibility of chambers as trusted competent third parties in the issuance of certificates of origin, bringing reassurance to traders, banks and customs administrations that their certificates of origin are issued according to internationally accepted best practice.

Each issuing chamber has been assigned a unique accreditation number which will be part of their stamp and is verifiable through the ICC website.

The accreditation stamp will be issued in addition to the usual Chamber of Commerce stamp.

If you have any questions in relation to this new stamp or its application please do not hesitate to contact us here.
