A Plan for the Dublin Region - Help to Shape It
Consultation Opens re Draft MASP Plan
In the past few days, the long-awaited draft Metropolitan Area Strategic Plan (MASP) was published for Dublin and its suburbs. Published by the Eastern Midlands Regional Assembly, the MASP plan outlines how the Dublin region will grow and evolve between now and 2031, covering topics such as expected population growth, where (and how many) houses are going to be built, the kind of infrastructure that is going to be built to support the growing region and also what changes will be made to the transport network.
Dublin Chamber has long called for an integrated plan which will ensure joined-up thinking between land use, transport, and housing in the Dublin Area. Dublin Chamber will be making its views known on the draft plan before the submissions deadline of 23rd January. We would welcome any feedback you have on the plan before Christmas.
