COUNCIL ELECTIONS: CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Deadline : Today (Friday 14th December 2018) at 5pm
Do you care about the future of your City? What ideas do you have to make Dublin a better place in which to do business?
Being a member of Dublin Chamber’s elected Council would provide you with an opportunity to make a real impact. That’s why I’d like to encourage you to consider running for 1 of the 10 positions we have open in our upcoming Council Elections.
The elected Council plays a key role in influencing and approving the Chamber’s lobbying agenda on behalf of your fellow members. The Council is also responsible for electing the Chamber President.
The Chamber looks to utilise the knowledge and experience of Council members to bring to life our Vision for Dublin 2050 and to further our ambition for Dublin to be a city renowned for its economic vitality and quality of life.
Through active participation on taskforces and at regular meetings, Council members are able to share their business acumen to inform decision–making on issues such as infrastructure development, business competitiveness and the annual Government budget.
Being elected to Council will provide you with a unique window into the Dublin business environment as you interact closely with fellow business leaders from across all sectors and industries.
Each year, 10 positions on Council are open to Dublin Chamber members only. We would encourage you to consider running for election or to nominate a colleague. To learn more about the function of Council and further details about the Election Process click here.
