1,600 Enthralled at Ireland's Biggest (& Best!) Business Dinner
A massive thanks to everyone who attended last night's hugely successful Dublin Chamber Annual Dinner 2018.And what a night it turned out to be!
Just under 1.600 people from the world of Dublin business were in attendance as President Anne O'Leary unveiled the latest outputs from the Chamber's hugely influential Dublin 2050 project . Anne also posed a number of challenges to Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe, who later took to the stage to outline what the Government plans to do for Dublin in the coming years. The evening was rounded off in charismatic fashion as Danish architect stole the hearts and minds of the audience with a compelling plea for cities to become more people-centric.
Want to re-live the best moments from the night? Scroll down for a re-cap of all the main highlights, including 2 new videos based on the findings of our recent National Conversation events, which saw the Chamber visit the 4 other main Irish cities to talk about how we can all work better together. The first video sets the scene (in humorous fashion) for what we set out to achieve, while the 2nd sees Love/Hate star Peter Coonan deliver a rousing synopsis - in poetic form - of what we heard on our travels.
We'd like to express appreciation to our sponsors AIB and to CEO Bernard Byrne who proclaimed the Annual Dinner to be 'the best night of the year!'. Who are we to argue!
