Join us on Friday 28th February to hear from one of Ireland’s leading policy-makers, responsible for enterprise and indigenous business.
Declan Hughes is Assistant Secretary General at the Department of Business Enterprise & Innovation with responsibility for supporting Irish owned businesses. His remit includes strategic and budgetary oversight of Enterprise Ireland, including the Local Enterprise Offices, as well as the National Standards Authority for Ireland. His other responsibilities include working closely with the Department of Finance and the SBCI to ensure that SMEs have access to appropriate finance, including through Microfinance Ireland and the Credit Guarantee Scheme. He also co-ordinates policy for the Digital Single Market and Digital Economy Transformation.
Declan Hughes will discuss Ireland’s policy on supports for SMEs and encouraging indigenous business growth. His presentation will be followed by audience Q&A. Breakfast will be provided from 8am. Book your place here.
